We had the honor of listening to our Young Gents present their business ideas and plans to a diverse panel of Sharks with industry experience ranging from finance, entertainment, international communications, tech and marketing.
For the last 8 months, our Gents have researched their ideas, learned the art of presenting and the 4 Ps of Marketing and 1, 2, 3s of entrepreneurship.
They were tasked to watch an episode or two of Shark Tank and prepare to meet an advisory board of Sharks for their end of year class graduation trip to New York.
This past Saturday, their hard work paid off. Check out this moment when one of our Young Gents was offered a deal by one of the Sharks.....his response is classic!
I just did a mock elevator pitch for my business course yesterday! Your boy looks more confident then me when he was pitching his business! I was shaking like a jelly fish😩! Well done young man👍🏾👍🏾! The sky is your limit!!
Meet these amazing, dynamic, community focused change agents making a difference in the lives of the next generation! Thank you for your commitment to educating and investing in our Young Gents and beyond! #NSOEBlog ... See MoreSee Less
Shared the earlier part of my Saturday hosting The New School Of Etiquette’s Shark Tank Edition for the Young Gents of Atlanta.
A very special thank you to @simply_stellabella for helping produce such a well executed event today! From A to Z you handled everything to make the vision a reality.
To my village of dynamic entrepreneurs, businessmen and change agents, today would not be possible without you! Your words of wisdom, advice and encouragement has already help change the lives of these young men.
To @ktclinkscale, the nucleus and brainchild of Young Gents, two years and counting! Your vision and commitment to Young Gents and the @newschoolofetiquette is inspiring. I’m honored to walk beside you, helping usher these young men to a higher level of excellence imaginable.
To the moms and families, your young men have made all of us proud. From creating business ideas, and business plans to presenting their business cards and resumes to a panel of “Sharks” - they each owned the room and impressed the Sharks.
At just the tender ages of 6 - 11, I’d say our Young Gents have a extraordinary solid foundation building bright futures! It takes a village and I am eternally grateful for mine.
BIG THANK YOU @micfoxism @cwade13 @blackarigold @dancroberts Aaron Holiday and @simmondsmalik aka our panel of Shark Advisors.
I’m humbled to be a part of a village who understands the importance of investing in our future and doing what matters most to help guide them.
It was a good day! And I’m feeling fine! Onward and Upward! #NSOE #YoungGentsOfAtlanta #NSOEBlog ... See MoreSee Less
So excited to share the first of the New School of Etiquette’s Kids Edition Series, hosted, created and produced by Thailer Rue!
Once upon a time she was painfully shy. In fact, the #NewSchoolOfEtiquette was created and inspired by her. I wanted to help her and other kids discover their “it factor” and what makes them uniquely special!
Our goal and commitment at the @newschoolofetiquette is not to change our students, but to help them reveal what already exist inside their budding spirits! We help them to reveal their “it factor” own their own time and their own terms.
Thailer Rue! You make me smile! It’s ok to be shy, it’s ok to be outgoing, it’s ok to be exactly who you are - the world only has one you! I hope you inspire others with your contagious energy! You have already inspired me.
@newschoolofetiquette we teach life lessons that last a lifetime, helping each student radiate confidence from the inside out!
